Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and sanitizing of public areas, washrooms, and the building to meet sanitation protocols, including weekly and monthly tasks. Set up meeting room spaces and assist with large event preparation using checklists and data sheets. Ensure all areas are fully stocked with supplies, restocking as necessary during events, and report any shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Maintain and clean equipment while complying with policies for hazardous material storage and disposal. Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns as required. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $15.35 CAD with 401(k) matching benefits. One year of facility cleaning experience is preferred, along with the ability to lift heavy objects and work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders/work from heights as required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays, and extended numbers of days
- Able to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Must be able to work as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience cleaning a business facility preferred
- Ability to use Windows-based computer systems and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
