Job Summary
Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, and event spaces at the Rio Rancho Events Center, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors. Empty trash receptacles, replenish supplies like soap and paper towels, and dust surfaces to maintain a tidy environment. Handle spill cleanup, manage trash removal, and assist with event turnover and post-event cleanup. Report any maintenance or repair needs to management while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $14.50, includes 401(k) savings with matching, and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is a plus
