Job Summary
Perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal across all convention center areas. Clean and maintain restrooms, interior/exterior surfaces, and public spaces like lobbies and hallways to meet health and safety standards. Safely operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums and floor machines while monitoring and reporting hazards or supply shortages. Assist with event setup and breakdown by ensuring spaces are clean and guest-ready. Work both indoors and outdoors with occasional exposure to adverse weather, requiring flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role supports the Mobile Convention Center's mission to deliver high-quality event experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of standing/walking for extended periods
- Must be capable of bending
- Must be capable of lifting heavy objects
- Must be capable of working with cleaning chemicals
- Must be comfortable working around electrical equipment
- Must be comfortable working in varied indoor/outdoor environments
- Must be capable of working outdoors

Desired Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a commercial facility
