Job Summary
Clean and stock guest rooms, hallways, and public areas per assigned shifts, including pre-cleaning duties like stocking supplies and folding laundry. Greet guests by name upon arrival and maintain spotless workspaces while adhering to all operational checklists and handover reports. Pitch in for additional cleaning projects in storage rooms or guest laundry as directed by the supervisor. Work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays on a varied schedule. This part-time role is with MCR, the third-largest hotel owner-operator in the U.S., offering weekly pay, hotel discounts, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Must be able to carry out physical working demands such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
