Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive housekeeping duties for guest lodges, public spaces, restrooms, and banquet rooms by following detailed daily working sheets. Maintain cleanliness and quality standards across all areas, ensuring linen is correctly pressed, stain-free, and fully stocked. Collaborate with Team members, Supervisors, Maintenance, and the Conference and Events Coordinator to complete tasks effectively and report maintenance faults for repairs. Manage lost property by turning items into the Coordinator and ensure all duties are finished before guest occupancy. Requires one year of hotel housekeeping experience, familiarity with cleaning chemicals, and the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Must hold a valid Florida or Georgia driver's license and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds in an indoor/outdoor environment subject to temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience in a hotel
- Familiarity with cleaning processes and cleaning chemicals
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, kneel, or crouch occasionally
- Ability to reach overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in an indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees at times
- Ability to handle changing priorities and interruptions
