Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of assigned resident units, assisted living centers, community centers, and common areas. Care for all equipment on the housekeeping cart, stock the cart at the end of each shift, and replenish housekeeping closets. Maintain a basic understanding of infection control and chemical usage while fully complying with Eskaton's Corporate Compliance Policy and HIPAA regulations. Model core values of warmth, excellence, and initiative; maintain professional dress code and safety gear; and adhere to established safety guidelines and body mechanics. Starting pay ranges from $18.15 to $22.10 per hour. High school education or vocational training is preferred, along with experience in housekeeping activities and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or vocational training
- Experience in housekeeping activities
- Use and maintenance of equipment
- Current first aid training
- Possesses a basic understanding of infection control
- Possesses a basic knowledge of chemical usage
- Must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen
- Must sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment
- Must follow required dress code and Eskaton's Community Appearance Standards
- Must maintain a professional image to the public and residents
- Must work in accordance with established safety guidelines
- Must use proper body mechanics
- Must follow safe work practices
- Must wear appropriate safety gear
- Must fully comply with all provisions in Eskaton's Corporate Compliance Policy
- Must fully comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Must maintain attendance as outlined in Eskaton policy
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
Desired Qualifications
