Housekeeper - Part time - Community Hospice House

Job Summary
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while following infection prevention practices and PPE requirements. Vacuum, dust, disinfect, and move furniture to maintain an aseptic environment, and stock rooms with supplies. Launder, store, and distribute linens and towels; handle cleaning chemicals safely. Report maintenance concerns, repair needs, and safety hazards, and assist with inventory management and equipment care. Transport furniture and supplies as needed, providing courteous assistance to patients, families, and visitors. Participate in required trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- 3-5 additional years of related experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping practices
- Knowledge of infection prevention
- Knowledge of workplace safety
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a clean environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Dependable
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering compassionate service in a hospice setting
- 24 hours per week
- 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Weekend rotations
- Holiday rotations
