Job Summary
Housekeeper role in a Cogir Senior Living community: maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces); clean and disinfect bathrooms; empty trash and replace liners; launder and replace linens and textiles as needed; follow community cleaning schedules and safety protocols; engage with residents in a friendly, respectful manner; respect privacy and preferences while cleaning living spaces; report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor; use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with instructions; adhere to infection control and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Education and certificates: A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least one (1) year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting (hotels) is required.
