Job Summary
Housekeeper position responsible for maintaining all public and common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms in a long-term care facility. Duties include cleaning walls, mirrors, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers; emptying trash; sweeping and mopping floors; following safety guidelines with signage and chemical handling; maintaining housekeeping carts and storage areas; and reporting safety concerns to supervisors. Requires attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off. Pay ranges from $17.13 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred
- Fluent in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to read and understand manuals and directions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
