Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning duties to maintain sparkling classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and changing areas. Keep the nursery stocked with supplies, water plants, and welcome deliveries while ensuring all equipment is functional. Identify broken or faulty items and report them to management immediately. Use appropriate cleaning products following COSHH guidelines to ensure a safe environment for children, parents, and staff. Work Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week in a 92-place nursery located in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and an understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Experience of working with hazardous materials and know how to use them safely
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, glass-half-full outlook
- Bags of drive and motivation with a 'make it happen' attitude
- A love for customer service
- High energy for every task you take on
- This position is Monday to Friday 20 hours per week 4:00pm to 8:00pm or 6:00pm to 10:00pm
