Job Summary
Conduct general cleaning of the entire community, including floors, furniture, bathrooms, and laundry areas, maintaining a sanitation grade of 90 or above at all times. Place warning signs in cleaning zones to ensure resident and staff safety, while managing inventory and purchasing supplies within the facility budget. Empty trash regularly, eliminate odors, and keep all cleaning materials locked and supervised. Adhere to Adult Care Home policies, OSHA standards, and the Residents' Bill of Rights, including reading and following directions and participating in required continuing education. Maintain confidentiality and assist residents with exercising their rights while working cooperatively with all staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.
- Must be able to Lift, Push, or Pull minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.
- Must have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain them during period of employment.
- Must have a two-step tuberculin skin test (first test prior to hire and second test within two weeks of first test).
