Job Summary
Clean and stock guest rooms, hallways, and public areas per assigned shifts, ensuring sparkling cleanliness and organized workspaces. Greet every guest by name upon arrival and throughout their stay while maintaining a positive attitude and following approved checklists to 100% accuracy. Pitch in for additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, laundry, or deep cleaning as needed by your supervisor. Work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, performing physical tasks such as lifting linens and climbing stairs. Clock in and out on time for every shift, adhering to break times and call-out procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
