Job Summary
Clean and prepare guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, including pre-cleaning duties like stocking supplies and managing linen. Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of rooms per shift, handling additional projects in storage, public spaces, and guest laundry as assigned. Greet every guest happily by name while cleaning, maintain a flawless uniform, and complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy. Work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, adhering to strict clock-in/out times and break protocols. Requires physical stamina for lifting, crawling, and standing for sustained periods.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Must be able to carry out physical working demands such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
