Job Summary
Housekeeper needed at MBK Senior Living for part-time shift Sundays through Tuesdays, 9am–5pm, in Mercer Island, WA. Responsibilities include meticulous cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, and offices per guidelines; maintain safety and sanitation, apply PPE and SDS procedures, assist with laundry, and support a resident-centered environment. The role requires strong customer service, ability to follow schedules, physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Compensation is $21 per hour with benefits; must be 18+, able to complete background checks and health screenings, and English-proficient.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Background clearances, health screening and negative TB test results within 7 days of employment
- Must be age 18 or over
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred; on-the-job training available
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds
- Must demonstrate compassionate, professional interaction with residents and families
- Must adhere to safety and sanitation policies including PPE and SDS handling
