Job Summary
Conduct thorough guestroom cleaning according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while maintaining clean hallways, public areas, and closets. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up housekeeping carts with supplies, linens, and chemicals, and replenish stock as needed. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, and handle lost-and-found items per standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. This role supports Highgate's portfolio of lifestyle hotel brands at the SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
