Job Summary
Respond promptly to guest and department requests, fill and transport supply carts, and enter guest rooms to replace amenities, linens, and supplies while making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Remove trash and dirty linens, check appliances for presence and function, and straighten desks and furniture. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings, vacuum carpets, and perform floor care duties in rooms and hallways. Follow all safety policies, report maintenance issues and hazards, and complete required training. Move objects up to 25 pounds independently and assist with heavier items, push carts over uneven surfaces, and stand or kneel for extended shifts. Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance
- Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
