Job Summary
Clean, disinfect, and straighten resident rooms, work areas, and common spaces according to schedule, including vacuuming carpets, scrubbing floors, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting furniture, washing windows, and managing trash and laundry. Move and straighten furniture, maintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms, and ensure proper equipment storage. Promote positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors while performing any other duties as requested. Work 8am-4pm part-time at Grand Village Assisted Living and Memory Care in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs. or less
- Must be able to lift 11-20 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 21-50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to lift 51-100 lbs. occasionally with assistance
- Must be able to push or pull 10 lbs. or less
- Must be able to push or pull 11-20 lbs.
