Job Summary
Clean facilities to maintain a neat and orderly environment by vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and scrubbing floors, hallways, and stairways. Sanitize bathroom fixtures, windows, and office equipment, dust and polish furniture, empty waste baskets, and replenish restroom supplies. Perform related tasks as required, including baling cardboard and operating an electric cart. Work involves frequent walking, standing, bending, and stooping on cement floors, potentially exposed to dust, grime, and wet surfaces. Requires irregular and extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on the event schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner
- Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization
- Perform effectively, despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities
- Excellent record of dependability, reliability, and integrity
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Position requires frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling
- Position may require use of an electric cart
- Position may require tools and equipment operation
- Position requires irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evening, and holidays
- Position requires radio usage – 2 way hand held
- Employment is contingent upon new employees providing documents verifying U.S. citizenship or, for aliens, documents verifying legal permission to work in the United States
