Job Summary
Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant in a memory-care community. Responsible for housekeeping and/or laundry duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping common areas, deep cleaning resident rooms, cleaning offices, bathrooms, carpets, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Must interact with residents, families, and associates with empathy, kindness, and respect; communicate effectively; assist nursing staff as needed; comply with HIPAA; participate in trainings; adhere to dress code and attendance policies; act as essential personnel during emergencies; work as part of a team and take on additional duties as assigned. Training may include safety procedures and emergency responses; prior experience in healthcare facilities preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
