Housekeeper/ Laundry Aide - Full-Time

Job Summary
Maintain all facility areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner by executing daily laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing. Follow established infection control and universal precautions practices when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions, and coordinate routine or terminal isolation procedures with nursing services. Adhere to dress code, facility attendance policy, and work schedules while attending scheduled training and educational classes. Review staff concerns timely to keep the Director of Facilities and Grounds informed, and demonstrate positive working relationships with patients, residents, visitors, and facility staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must have morning and evening availability
- This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
- Adheres to dress code and facility attendance policy
- Follows work schedules and completes assigned tasks according to the established standards of the facility
- Attends committee meetings, if assigned
- Attends and participates in all scheduled training, educational and orientation classes, programs and activities including annual mandatory classes
