Job Summary
Housekeeper cleans resident apartments, public and common areas, and handles laundry for residents and the community in a courteous manner; supports safe, secure environment per safety standards; collaborates with coworkers and other departments; requires HS-equivalent education, good customer service, and ability to communicate with residents, families, and staff; includes background checks, health screening, and adherence to vaccination/PPE guidelines as per regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
