Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for overall cleanliness of hotel rooms, performing cleaning duties to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to brand and IHM standards. Requires flexible scheduling, ability to handle guest requests, and attention to guest service quality. Duties include changing sheets and towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging rooms after checkout; communicate damages or disturbances to supervisors; maintain performance in a high-demand hospitality environment; participate in Island Hospitality training and benefit programs.
Required Qualifications
- Full time Housekeeper duties
- basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging rooms after guests check out
- ensure rooms meet brand and IHM standards
- notify supervisors of damages/deficits/disturbances
- readily available and approachable for guests with excellent guest service
- ability to work in stressful situations
- physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
