Job Summary
Conduct daily housekeeping tasks including changing sheets, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning public areas such as the lobby, pool, and restrooms. Maintain shelf organization in storerooms, deliver special request items like cribs to guest rooms, and uphold safety standards by recognizing and reporting potential hazards. Perform hands-on duties involving lifting up to 25 pounds while ensuring a clean environment that contributes to an excellent guest experience. Work flexible schedules including Saturdays and Sundays, with hours variable based on guest occupancy and season.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Island Hospitality uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization
