Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning all common spaces and resident rooms in a senior living community. Follow established procedures and maintain safety with chemicals; assess resident changes and report to management. Must work well in a team, be able to lift at least 40 pounds, and read/write English. Prior hospitality or senior-living experience is helpful. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, maintaining supply carts, reporting safety hazards, and participating in education/in-services. Strong emphasis on empathy, resident well-being, and adherence to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English
- Criminal background check and drug screenings required
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Must follow policies and procedures
- Experience in hospitality or senior living is helpful but not required
- Must be able to use chemicals safely and follow infection control practices
