Job Summary
Maintain high levels of cleanliness in all guest spaces, including rooms, corridors, and furniture, by pulling dirty linen, emptying trash, dusting surfaces, and disinfecting bathrooms. Complete detailed tasks such as vacuuming carpets, cleaning mirrors, checking behind furniture for debris, and ensuring all lighting and electronics function correctly. Report any maintenance issues, unsafe conditions, or lost items to the supervisor immediately. Assist with special projects, renovations, and training new staff as assigned. Perform work order requests for maintenance daily and ensure all carts and supplies remain organized.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as room attendant with a keen sense of attention to detail
- Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and chemical maintenance
- Knowledge of general cleaning processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of 30 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs 30% of the time
- Ability to push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
