Job Summary
Cleans hospital areas including patient rooms, offices, common areas, lavatories, halls, and food service areas; performs floor care such as stripping, waxing, and shampooing; dusts, mops, vacuums, and sweeps; completes linen distribution and soiled linen handling; conducts supply distribution and promotes teamwork while maintaining professional behavior. May serve as Lead Housekeeper as needed and is able to perform department tasks; responsible for effective resource management (time, supplies, equipment) and adherence to policies. Works with a nursing or hospital environment to ensure cleanliness and turnover of patient rooms and other spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of housekeeping experience
- High School Graduate or GED preferred
