Job Summary
Housekeeper I at the Texas State Aquarium seeks a part-time team member to clean facility and office spaces, prepare the facility for opening, manage inventory procedures, and maintain high cleanliness standards. Duties include sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, trash removal, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs, and delivering excellent guest services while coordinating with all departments to ensure cleanliness during operating hours. The role requires minimal formal education with the possibility of an equivalent combination of education or experience, and emphasizes communication and adherence to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training is required.
