Job Summary
The Housekeeping Associate will keep the Monarch Richardson community clean and safe for residents, families, team members, and visitors by cleaning resident apartments, common areas, vacant units, and laundry areas, including bathrooms and laundry facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning all listed areas, maintaining supplies, following emergency procedures, handling biohazardous waste procedures, reporting injuries, and coordinating with Supervisors and Directors. Requires physical ability to bend, reach, push/pull, lift 40-50 pounds, and stand for extended periods; role is full-time in a senior-living environment with a strong emphasis on customer service and safe, sanitary operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred/ GED accepted
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Must have organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Physically able to bend and reach
- Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
