Job Summary
The Housekeeping Associate cleans Resident apartments and all common areas, may service vacant units and handle related laundry tasks; maintains cleanliness of public restrooms and laundry spaces; follows posted schedules and safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and biohazardous waste; communicates with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Plant Operations Director, and coordinates with supplies ordering; requires strong organizational, time-management, multitasking, and physical endurance to bend, reach, push/pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds; aims to keep the community clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred/ GED accepted
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Must have organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Physically able to bend and reach
- Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
