Job Summary
Conduct sweeping, damp mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, and dusting furniture. Wash walls, windows, and ceilings using brooms, mops, cloths, and cleaning solutions per established standards. Operate vacuums and other related equipment. Apply deodorizers as required. Perform these duties while maintaining effective communication and organization. Schedule and work area may change per operational requirements and the Collective Agreement. Internal applicants must submit via the Internal Career Portal before 8:00 AM Pacific Time on the closing date.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check
