Job Summary
Clean and stock all guest rooms as assigned, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain workspace and housekeeping carts, reporting furniture or room deficiencies to the Head Housekeeper. Greet guests throughout the property and participate in daily standup meetings. Assist with quarterly cleaning duties, laundry, and restocking storage rooms as needed. Adhere to all health, safety, and chemical handling guidelines while working flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in an effective and professional manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Excellent attendance record with minimal to no absences
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Neat, well-groomed appearance
- High school education
- 1-year hospitality experience
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Effectively deal with guests
- Accept constructive criticism
- Must be able to change activity frequently
- Must be able to cope with interruptions
