Job Summary
Clean and stock all guest rooms as assigned, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain lobby and public areas, restock storage rooms, and assist with laundry and light maintenance as needed. Greet guests throughout the property, report furniture deficiencies, and keep workspace carts organized. Adhere to strict health, safety, and chemical handling guidelines while working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Complete housekeeping training and participate in daily standup meetings to support team goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in a professional manner
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and events
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Read, write and speak English
- Have an eye for detail
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Neat, well-groomed appearance including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- High school education
- Complete housekeeping training program within the brand required time frame
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Must be able to effectively deal with guests
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Lift up to 50 pounds from time to time
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year hospitality experience
