Job Summary
Clean and stock all guest rooms and public areas, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and report room deficiencies to the Head Housekeeper. Greet guests, participate in daily standup meetings, and assist with seasonal cleaning duties or laundry as needed. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, ensuring rooms are cleaned within budgeted time goals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest trust.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in a professional manner
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and events
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Read, write and speak English
- Have an eye for detail
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Neat, well-groomed appearance including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- High school education
- Complete housekeeping training program within the brand required time frame
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year hospitality experience (Preferred)
