Job Summary
Clean and stock all guest rooms as assigned, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Maintain a high level of professional appearance while adhering to strict health, safety, and sanitary guidelines. Keep workspace and housekeeping carts organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Report deficiencies in furniture, walls, or appliances immediately and participate in daily standup meetings. Greet guests throughout the property and assist in seasonal cleaning duties as needed. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, ensuring rooms are cleaned within budgeted time goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- 1-year hospitality experience
- Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in a professional manner
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and events
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Read, write and speak English
- Have an eye for detail
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Neat, well-groomed appearance including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Complete housekeeping training program within the brand required time frame
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Effectively deal with guests
- Accept constructive criticism
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Lift up to 50 pounds from time to time
Desired Qualifications
