Job Summary
Housekeeper to welcome guests with a friendly greeting and perform guest-related cleaning tasks. Responsibilities include removing and replacing dirty linens and towels, cleaning bathrooms, sinks, fridges, floors with proper chemicals per OSHA and HomeTowne requirements, communicating with the front desk about room information and discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality of guest information, performing self-room inspections, and potentially cross-training in laundry, maintenance, and/or front desk duties. Must be able to adapt to multiple tasks with minimal supervision, work in non-climate controlled areas, and have basic English communication. Experience: 1 year preferred in hotel cleaning or similar experience and 1 year in a customer service role. Must wear provided uniform and meet appearance standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year preferred in hotel cleaning or similar experience
- 1 year in previous customer service position
- Must maintain professional appearance in Hometown’s provided uniform
- Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas
- Must be able to easily and frequently change from one task to another and work with minimal supervision
- Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required
