Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas in the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Essential duties include cleaning and resetting guest rooms and bathrooms, maintaining common areas, and promptly responding to guest requests. Housekeepers will stock housekeeping carts, report maintenance issues, and complete room assignment sheets accurately. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have good mobility for cleaning tasks, and demonstrate a clean appearance according to company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
- must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
Desired Qualifications
- hospitality experience is a plus
- Basic communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
