Job Summary
Maintain the community interior and resident apartments by vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas, hallways, dining rooms, and individual units. Perform deep cleaning of entryways, including carpets, windows, and light fixtures, while laundering linens and changing bed linens. Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, and empty waste baskets as needed. Serve residents and guests by greeting them, reviewing menus, taking orders, and delivering beverages and meals. Bus tables, clear dishes, and reset for the next meal following proper sanitizing procedures. Fill sugar holders, replenish creamers, and clean coffeemakers. Follow company sanitation and safety procedures. Complete side work and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
