Job Summary
Maintain the community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner by vacuuming, dusting, and deep cleaning common areas, hallways, and individual units. Clean and defrost refrigerators, change linens, empty waste baskets, and launder all linens in provided facilities. Launder linens by washing and drying in laundry facilities provided. Greet residents and guests to serve beverages and meals, take orders, and reset dining areas following proper sanitizing procedures. Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals. Fill sugar holders, replenish creamers, and clean coffeemakers. Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
