Job Summary
Maintain the community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner by vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas, dining rooms, hallways, and individual units. Perform deep cleaning tasks focusing on carpets, windows, and light fixtures, while laundering linens, changing bed linens, defrosting refrigerators, and checking heat system filters. Serve residents and guests by greeting them, reviewing menus, taking orders, and delivering beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart. Bus and clear dishes after meals, reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures, and handle side work such as replenishing creamers and cleaning coffee makers. Follow company sanitation and safety procedures throughout all duties.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
