Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while maintaining hallways, public areas, and closets. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linen, then restock it and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, handling lost-and-found items per standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. This role supports the Room Attendant position at Residence Inn Deptford, located in Deptford, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
