Job Summary
Hospital Housekeeper role providing cleaning in patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms; adhere to HHS cleaning procedures; contribute to a safe, comfortable healing environment; shift options include Day/Evening/Night with at least every-other weekend and holiday work; background check and drug screen required; vaccination status may be required; benefits include PTO, medical, dental, 401K, disability, and life coverage. Location: Merakey USA - Pittsburgh Buildings (Coraopolis, PA).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English
- Work well in a team environment
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- Physical ability to stand, walk, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching continuously
- Ability to push/pull carts or equipment over 100 lb
- Ability to handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
