Job Summary
Maintain a clean environment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards by cleaning, polishing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, floors, carpets, and windows throughout the facility. Coordinate laundry schedules, collect and process linen, and ensure all areas are free of hazardous objects. Follow infection control policies, safety procedures, and handwashing protocols while reporting accidents and equipment issues to the supervisor. Maintain a stocked supply cart and keep hallways and stairways safe for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to understand English language
- Must be to follow directions
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day through all areas of the facility
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout the day
- Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift up to 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 15 feet
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare setting preferred
