Housekeeper

The Housekeeper cleans common living areas and resident apartments in the community, oversees cleaning of the facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms, operates the laundry equipment when needed, completes maintenance request reports, reports deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor, uses only approved cleaning products and stores supplies properly, dusts and cleans furniture and window blinds, vacuums both common areas and resident apartments, attends required in-services and staff meetings, and maintains resident privacy/confidentiality. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to understand verbal and written instructions, and the ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time. It also involves standing, walking, kneeling, bending, grasping, pushing and pulling for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs and carrying heavy objects up to 20 feet, and working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
