Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning common living areas and resident apartments in Harmony Senior Services community, overseeing cleaning of the facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms, completing maintenance request reports, operating laundry equipment, reporting supplies needs, using approved cleaning products, cleaning offices and windows blinds, dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, maintaining resident privacy, attending in-services and staff meetings, and adhering to policies on release of resident information. Requires ability to work with others, lift up to 25 lbs, flexible schedule including weekends/holidays, and a HS diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Housekeeping experience highly desired
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet
- Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
