Job Summary
Clean common living areas and resident apartments in the community; oversee cleaning of the entire facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms; operate laundry equipment when needed; report deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor; maintain resident privacy/confidentiality; attend required in-services and staff meetings; follow all policies; maintain clean offices and dust/clean window blinds; vacuum and maintain cleanliness of common areas and resident bathrooms; complete maintenance request reports when needed; perform other duties as assigned; Harmony Senior Services offers Full-time and Part-time benefits and a Great Place To Work culture.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Housekeeping experience highly desired
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet
- Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
