Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms while adhering to established schedules and standards. Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely, ensuring all areas remain stocked with necessary items like soap and hand sanitizer. Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Participate in infection control procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and waste disposal. Assist with laundry services as needed to clean and handle resident clothing and facility linens. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and inviting environment for residents, staff, and visitors through rigorous cleaning practices and adherence to facility protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment
- Must be willing to undergo background checks and meet all health and vaccination requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, particularly in a healthcare setting
