Job Summary
Clean and sanitize assigned rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards while replenishing linens and amenities. Report maintenance issues to management and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely room turnover and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide high-level customer service by assisting guests with requests. Requires proven hotel experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and the physical ability to lift heavy objects. Reports directly to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Proven housekeeping experience in a hotel setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and meticulousness in cleaning and sanitizing
- Effective communication and customer service skills
