Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of common spaces and resident rooms, including dusting vents, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms. Collect and empty trash while maintaining chemicals in labeled containers and ensuring resident safety by locking storage rooms. Assess changes in residents and report special problems or safety hazards immediately to supervisors. Notify maintenance of broken items and use wet floor signs in public areas. Follow infection control techniques and policies while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain emotional composure and listen to resident or family concerns. Work full-time with daily pay, PTO, and health benefits.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to assess changes in residents
- Ability to communicate changes to management
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Ability to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, kneel, push, pull, and twist using good body mechanics
- Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals
- Ability to enjoy working in a team environment
- Willingness to support others on the team as requested by supervisor
- Ability to maintain emotional composure and stay calm in all situations
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Ability to listen to resident and/or family concerns/complaints
- Ability to report concerns/complaints to supervisor
- Ability to identify special resident problems
- Ability to report special resident problems to supervisor

Desired Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent
- Experience working in a hospitality setting
- Experience working in a senior community
