Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of GMPPU facilities, ensuring waste disposal and sanitation meet FIA Financial Regulatory requirements. Coordinate third-party catering services for setup, service readiness, and post-event cleanup. Perform daily walkthroughs to remove trash, restock cleaning supplies, and disinfect water fountains, refrigerators, microwaves, and restrooms. Vacuum carpets, mop warehouse and production floors, clean glass, and break down cardboard boxes for recycling. Report resupply needs, facility problems, and defective equipment to the supervisor. Follow prescribed safety regulations while wearing company-provided PPE. Assist other facility staff with cleaning tasks as requested. Complete only duties that meet excluded activity definitions per Financial Regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of experience or training in cleaning and housekeeping of industrial facilities in retails, warehouse, or manufacturing
- Must be able to assist other facility staff members in facilities-related cleaning tasks when requested
- Must be able to lift or move items over 50 pounds
