Job Summary
Housekeeper responsible for general housekeeping/custodian and light maintenance in county buildings and grounds, performing routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, window cleaning, trash disposal), maintaining supplies, reporting problems, and potentially working weekends or responding to emergencies; requires ability to operate county vehicle and comply with safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Six months experience in cleaning and building maintenance
- Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license along with a clean MVR check
- ADA requirements: able to perform essential functions with/without accommodation
- Physical requirements: moderate physical effort and lifting 20-50 pounds
- Work environment: exposure to varied conditions as described in posting
